Changing your Email Password from within cPanel

To change your email password in cPanel, navigate to the “Email” section and select “Email Accounts”. Locate the email address for which you want to change the password, then click on “Manage”. Under “Security”, enter your new password or generate one. Finally, click “Update Email Settings”.

Alternatively, to change your password from webmail, log in and select “Password and Security” from under “Edit Your Settings”. Enter and confirm your new password. Finally, click on “Save”. Use this new password for your next login.

Important: If after logging in to webmail, you’re taken automatically to your Inbox, click on the Webmail Home icon in the left panel to return to the webmail home page where you’ll find the “Edit Your Settings > Password and Security” option.

Good to Know: It’s a best practice to use strong, unique passwords for each email account and change them periodically to maintain security.
