For Google Workspace Gmail, you can use either the traditional 5 MX records or the new single MX record that rolled out after April 2023:
Traditional 5 MX records:
- Priority 1: ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
- Priority 5: ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
- Priority 5: ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
- Priority 10: ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
- Priority 10: ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
Single MX record (for users who signed up after April 2023):
- Priority 1: SMTP.GOOGLE.COM
Good to Know: Incorrect MX records can prevent emails from reaching your Gmail inbox. Always double-check the values and get in touch with your service provider for assistance.
