Granting permissions to a database user means assigning them specific rights to perform actions like reading, writing, or modifying the database. In cPanel, permissions can be granted either when adding a new user to a database or afterwards, for existing users.

Good to Know: Carefully consider the permissions needed for each user. Overly broad permissions can pose a security risk.
