What happens if my Let’s Encrypt SSL expires?

With cPanel’s AutoSSL service, a Let’s Encrypt issued certificate should automatically renew before its expiration. However, if an SSL certificate does expires, the secured communication between your server and visitors is interrupted, causing browsers to display a warning to users.
