If your MX records point elsewhere, ensure that in cPanel, under ‘Email Routing’, you select ‘Remote Mail Exchanger’. This tells cPanel that your email is managed externally.
Good to Know: Setting the wrong mail exchanger option can lead to email delivery problems. Always verify your settings after changes.
