What’s the default quota for an email account and how can I change it?

By Gbz • October 4, 2023

The default quota for an email account in our systems is set to “Unlimited”. You can also specify a value of your choice in MB or GB. To adjust, navigate to the “Email Accounts” in cPanel, find the account, and select “Manage”. From here, modify the quota by setting the “Allocated Storage Space” value under the “Storage” section.

Good to Know: A large email quota can quickly consume server space, especially with attachments. Regularly monitor and manage mailbox sizes.
